Hello!

Hello!

I am a theatre artist with over a decade of experience touring across Canada and have specialized in socially engaged community arts in rural communities. My core belief is that the arts can help to create a more empathetic, compassionate, and healthy world.

“…and last but certainly not least, thank you Warren for your philosophical discussions about theatre that you always sparked up during lunch, teaching me how to own my own voice and be loud in theatre, and for always being an email away!” – Student Workshop Participant, Shaw Festival

“Warren, you are amazing (had to be said)…. Thank you so much for setting up this training session.  I loved the opening with the ice breakers…. Got everyone in the room on the same page.  Your leadership style was conducive to getting everyone to participate and learn…. Thanks!!” – Volunteer Training Participant, Shaw Festival

“…Warren brought it to another level this past Monday by presenting to the University/High School course on Theatre of the Oppressed.  I was so happy that you were able to bring your knowledge and expertise to the class.  That class is groundbreaking in the overall structure and again, thank you for helping to support the initiative. All this to say…THANK YOU for your openness, kindness and sharing of your experience.” – Bernie Leger, Creative Arts Consultant /Indigenous Studies Support, Ottawa Catholic School Board

“I appreciate the work of Warren and his patience” – Workshop Participant, Shaw Festival

“Dear Warren, I just watched it. IT’S FREAKING HILARIOUS!!  I laughed out loud every single horoscope month, for real. It’s a brilliant premise and you’re incredibly funny. Great button punch line. Love the music and the pace of it. It’s really such a delight and so smart. Thank you!” – Julie Tepperman, Convergence Theatre, COVID Confessions Projectconvergencetheatre.com

I spoke with several students after your presentation and they said it was fun & enjoyable! It was nice to meet you both and I wish you all the best!” – Giovanna Varano, ESL/FSL/P.T., Our Lady of Providence

“Thank you so much for the workshops Warren. Ms. Kent and her students can’t rave enough about the one they had last week!  I’m so jealous I’m missing it!” – Cristina Di Censo, LTO Teacher, Driftwood PS TDSB

“…We really appreciate that you were able to facilitate this inspiring workshop! We took away so much from the experience that we will bring forward as we grow as a collective.” – Youth Elevating Youth – YEY Collective – Re: Theatre for Conversation Workshop
